Beyond Common Sense

Common sense indicates being thoughtful, and understandin of a plan without a formal act. This itself is uncommon yet there is a bigger world that lies beyond it. A design mechanism, physical laws, innate mathematics, logic and supernatural powers such as magic. As we observe our surroundings and are amazed by the beauty of this world, we fail to appreciate the purpose of life, of this world and our actions. For this one needs to understand the environment, and nature of the human body, mind and soul. Science offers exciting information and details about life. These details are unable to form a complete picture of all why, how and what about the understanding of life.
What lies beyond common sense is the treasure of unmeasured potential. The sixth sense is a sense which connects the human cognitive complex to the dimension of consciousness and it is known as Pragyan in Sanskrit. Pragyan is Intuition. The root word for intuition is the Latin ‘intueri’ meaning into you. Intuition has spiritual roots which lie in the dimension of consciousness.

Pragyan Brahma

Knowing

through Religion & Philosophy

This book explores the mainstream religions, and their components and defines what Dharma is and how is it different from 'Religion'. Various prominent philosophies of the East and the West (Greek) have also been explored and analysed.

Human curiosity about existence and the nature of life has driven mankind to seek answers through various means. Religion offers a mix of metaphysical, ritualistic, social and sometimes political elements. These beliefs are supposedly intended to know and reach the ultimate reality. Some religions involve revelations by higher metaphysical beings while others maintain that human beings can the ultimate truth themselves by achieving an alternate state of consciousness (Tapas & Yoga etc). Philosophy is the love of knowledge that leads us to the truth of reality. It uses ‘reason’ in understanding the nature of reality and lays the use and limits of knowledge and principles of moral judgment. In this book, along with its nature and purpose both these approaches to the phenomenon of ‘Knowing’, have been explored.

A Logic of Every Being

The scientific community is focused on finding a theory of everything. This attempt is important in building human understanding about us and our surroundings but it represents only the material view. Complete human knowledge belongs to the four repositories of religion, philosophy, science and spirituality. Individually all of these are unable to provide a complete perspective of reality. A logic of energy being is a complete logic about the animate and inanimate. It is the theory of existence that attempts to describe the inanimate nature, interpretative self and cosmic super-consciousness.

With advanced tools and empirical methods, science has expanded our understanding of the observable world but has yet to answer existential questions and address the interpretative aspects of consciousness. Spirituality addresses the interpretative elements to some extent and the two are often seen at odds with each other. Can these two complement each other and give us a true understanding of the purpose of our existence? Meanwhile, scientists are working tirelessly to find a theory of everything. A theory is based on logic. This means that logic plays an inherent role in understanding reality. Science is concerned only about things whereas this book explores all the beings and their underlying logic.

The Real Constitution
of Bharat

This book proposes a new constitutional framework for Bharat. Bharat's present constitution is heavily influenced by European philosophy, colonial framework and lacks a connection to its indigenous philosophy and knowledge. A constitution is the foundation of a nation's existence, economy, knowledge and evolution. It needs to embody its history, art, culture, traditions and wisdom. Bharats's Civilisation has survived and flourished because its wisdom aligns with reality. This wisdom needs its rightful place in our Constitution.

Ideal Constitution of a Just State

There are more than a hundred countries, political parties and institutions that use the word 'Republic', yet none of them is truly a Republic. Many countries call themselves democratic, yet none of them is truly democratic. Why? The questions are easy; the answers need deep insights.

This book portrays an ideal Constitution of a modern nation-state.  The need for a Just State is clear in a world where political instability, injustice, and self-serving governance prevail. A Just State directly addresses the root causes of societal discord. Its defining characteristics, ranging from reformative justice and due diligence to sovereignty and international goodwill, equip it to rectify the flaws of current systems. Far from being a mere ideal, a Just State is a practical necessity, realigning governance with principles of righteousness and ensuring the happiness and stability of all its citizens.

Thank You for Existing

The poet has the mind of the philosopher,

the heart of the lover,

and the compassion of the giver.

He is a weaver of fantasy

and expresses universal truths of life,

but he also doubts, and questions,

sees the good, and the bad

the beautiful and the ugly.

He has moments of pain

and moments of elation.

He is inspired, and he is lost

but he finds his way.

The author of these poems encompasses,

the very best of these qualities,

I have had the Good Fortune to read,

his works over time.

I have always enjoyed his unique philosophy

and love of life.

“Thank You for Existing” is a gift, to you the reader,

for in it, he extols the beauty of creation,

the spirituality of the soul

and the very nature of Love itself.

Bon Appetit, for this is truly a feast!
